I've always been an album person, I love things that feel complete, that take you on a journey, and this is one awesome journey. The song structure of each track is very linear, and the variances between tracks are minimal; yet that dark, foreboding, evil sound that I fell in love with when I first discovered ghostfog (the album "grim") is incredible, and shines through on this album in a very cohesive way. It leaves you with the impression of being on a train ride headed straight for hell. The tracks don't bend yet the carriages buckle and sway under the weight of the sheer acceleration and magnitude of force behind these beats, sonic blasts of energy, and gutteral vocals, bringing forth all sorts of emotions associated with that feeling of being taken somewhere forcefully: fear, adrenaline, sadistic pleasure. The pressurised nature of the production enhances the "train ride" feeling of being in a crowded place, wanting to escape. This is the sort of music I used to hate but now love; as fear, anticipation, and panic are strong emotions that make you feel real. I hear the whispers and they say "Don't fear the Dark, just let go." Beautiful.

Yeap that was this time of photocopied fanzines, groupzines, bands like Psychic TV, Coil, Front 242, Frontline Assembly, Foetus, SCH... and best band in the world - fathers of industrial noise. Everything was black and white. And it was art in itself to found bizare and rare handmade LPs of these mostly politically incorrect :-) people.

"Hear them whisper" remind me of that period. But It's not just nostalgy. It sounds polished, modern, gothic. Sound is solid, calculated and in it's place. This is NOT old album. This is modern, good work made for new politically incorrect kids in the block.

Like it. But not vocal parts. It's time to find different use of vocals in this kind of music. Take Blixa as exemple not f..ing Leibach (lol).

Darkness verses evil in this amazing, Gothic, metal, electro album, feel the force, power, and amazing energy, kick you, and wake you from the dead. With this raw, euphoric, passionate, rhythmical, musical style as it did me, me right between the eyes. I loved it, very well structured, composed and performed album this is. A must for anyone who loves music, to give this a try and check out album.

I feel from the previous release of asylum theory, which is no longer here? That you have matured as an artist, the sound is crisper and it seems to take you on a gentle venture rather than be so excitable. I didn't like the track where nobody dies, it was too long and felt more like an interlude.

I'm genuinely impressed as to how this comes together as an album and the professional quality of it, that is one of the reasons for such a high score. I do find some of the songs revert back to simplistic drum beats a bit too often for me, where I prefer them a little more complex sometimes. :)
Thanks for the link to the album, I don't check this as much as i used to!

This is Cool!
it reminds me of the good days when 'Front Line Assembly' was god And 'Combichrist' rocked.
Dark ebm beats, brooding synths And cold atmospheres.
Excellent... i want to hear more.

Beyond The Quiet a blisteringly brilliant start, way beyond indeed. Nice, interesting structure and rhythmic quality. A keen sense of development seems evident. The Taste of You quite relaxed by comparison and wonderfully confident in a quiet manner. Good sense of spirit seems to have been emtied in the conception of this track. Grand tonality and quite a large construction. Where Nobody Dies is a very fine conglomeration of sounds, imprinted firmly in your mind. Then, the vocals kick in with a different pace and make-up. Good listening. And nobdoy dies really, they just assimilate with the dark matter and exist for ever in a different form. That's my hypothesis anyway. There is no death after life, though life after death is a whole change in your sense of being, if you manage to maintain that level of consciousness. Behind the Corner is an interesting title and a good, energetic track.

Down In The Streets echoes frighteningly well. It continues with good variation and is quite light and busy in the throes of the track. Quite a lot going on. My street is always busy, living on a junction and the traffic is pretty immense at times, even for such a small town, but it's a rat run and full of parked vehicles, so effectively a single track. Makes for interesting watching some days. At night, all you can hear are the boy-racers with their fat exhaust pipes. Legion, strikes me as a darker track, and seems at first to be a level of purgatory in the old Dantesque style. Haunting yet plaintively melodic. Strange voice samples add to its eerie quality and plucking of strings takes you into the rush of the track proper. Again, a nice energy. Lastly, the title track Hear Them Whisper, and I do all the time. Voices are evident in every minute of my life so the track does not seem at all strange as it may to some. I like the tone and pace of the whole album, this track being no exception, just exceptional. So, today I appear to have gone from one end straight to the other and can hear a difference. Whether that be down to technical adeptness or just attitude, it works well and has been an enjoyable experience. Thanks for sharing, and for saying thanks.
