Good album, good band. The recording quality is reasonable, the songwriting and playing are definitely excellent! The band has a good recognizable sound of their own. Very easy to like.

unlike hjfischer, I don't take these things too seriously, and presumably nor do the guys playing on this album. They are obviously having fun doing what they do, and want to share this with others (for free!). 'Nuff said!

Back in the 80ties there was a fashion (or rather a marketing trick or gag) to label music as alternative or indie to express something like this music would be different or special. This band follows the tradition. Now, what is different with this music? The vocals can't be special - I mean, Captain Beefheart for instance did special vocals. The guitar play is much too simple to be of any interest. The compositions as a whole aren't complex. So, should it really be the twittering or similar silly computer sounds at the start or end of some songs which makes music different, alternative or special?

Well, actually, I think you never attempted to explore the limits of music, you never even tried to create something special nobody else did before. So, it is just questionable why you try to pretend - I mean who should believe this music could be different other than perhaps teenagers who just can't know better?

Isn't it undisturbing background music for teenagers, what you actually tried to make? If so, then I'd say yes, that's turned out quite well, except for "Work and Smile" which sounds like kindergarten.
