Après de nombreux mails d'encouragements qui m'ont fait énormément plaisir, j'ai décidé
de publier un autre album. Malheureusement, je n'ai pas toujours le temps que je désirerais,
c'est pourquoi wire [works in regress] n'est pas vraiment un nouvel album, mais plutot
une compilation de titres b-side.

J'en appelle donc à votre indulgence, ici ce sont des titres qui, pour une raison ou pour
une autre me tiennent à coeur, mais qui bien souvent ne sont pas aussi finalisés que
je l'aurais voulu. En attendant un véritable album (j'y travaille ^^) qui je l'espère, saura
se montrer à la hauteur des attentes de ceux qui aiment un peu ce que je fais,
je publie wire plus à la manière d'un remerciement pour tous ceux qui m'ont soutenue.

Un petit cadeau, un apéritif, en attendant.

Merci à Maniax pour la pochette (..hem !), et surtout merci à tous ceux qui m'ont offert un peu
de leur attention, et qui ont ensoleillé mes diluviennes journées nancéennes.

1 - Rash Me : un titre assez doux pour commencer, un peu hip-hop, à l'atmosphère dissonante

2 - still noxed : un de mes morceaux préférés, mélangeant électro et guitare lui aussi

3 - abyss : pour rester à la surface.. j'ai bien failli mettre celui-ci sur Peak~ ^^

4 - fresh : une expérimentation suite à un bug bienheureux de ma machine, qui saccadait les nappes sans qu'on puisse trop avoir de contrôle harmonique

5 - the travel : j'aime beaucoup ce titre, c'est un des plus récents, j'ai fait un peu attention au son pour une fois ^^ Ca commence un peu glauque, mais ça se finit bien.

6 - undo : un morceau ambiant et très calme

7 - ammoniac : à l'inverse, c'est ce que j'ai du produire de plus morbide

8 - melancoly : un autre titre un peu ambiant, avec beaucoup de nappes

9 - jim : je tiens particulièrement à celui-ci. Très simple, avec une guitare classique et un vieux tourne-disque.

wire (2007) -- The latest album. The Author said, this is a compilation of "side B" tunes, that didn't fit to previous albums or needed remastering -- I think, this self-depreciation biased judgement of some reviewers of this album, as I think, from all the three this one is the best. From the very beginning: rash me is readily recognisable tune; still noxed wins my heart by passionate guitar solo; Abyss and fresh are attracting with experiment on sound and editing, where ammoniac is a bit psychedelic in harmonies and sounds ("meow!"). The closing tune, jim, takes us back to the minimal setup know from album psychopathetic: drum machine, bass and guitar -- but this time with brief vocal samples. Will we have a bit more of it in the future? Overall: another Must-have on the shelve. I'll give nine stars! => Once again, after Robotnicka in 2004, French female artist has left me stunned. I allow my self to paraphrase words from Robotnicka's Spectre en vue review by Franklin Bruno. Grace --You do, what the French are conventionally thought incapable of: You rock.

This album is so different maybe this is the time when you are troubled,But it shows the style of your artistry,Honestly i feel troubled in some of your tracks in this album.Are you O.k??? and some are indigestible for me.Well built album.

As Yoda says? I Felt Fear in you young Grace Valhalla.

I listened to WIRE many times. Nice chill music, I like the way you mixed classical and electric guitar sounds in Still Noxed.

Quelques moments de certains titres sont agréables, mais cela reste limité. Je ne suis pas convaincu.

Curiously satisfying

I'm not a huge fan of ambiance, but this minimalistic techno sounds so nice and enveloping that it's hard to turn down. Being my first Grace Vahalla CD, I wasn't sure what to think, but in the end it was smooth, captivating, and polished; something you normally don't say about a B-side track collection with the words "Works in Progress" on the cover.

Frankly, I couldn't tell the difference. A wondrous album, only marred by the fact that I'm not a huge fan of the genre. But it went past that to make a nice, well done effort than even I can enjoy.
