Just like the style of a Beethoven symphony, saving the best until last. The Prelude warms you up for the Intermezzo, which shifts from a classical lean to an interlude with piano, bass, percussion and melody. Has an easy listening ring to it. Etosha starts with a lovely lilt to it. And, sure enough the artist pulls out all the stops, producing a very acceptable listen, that curiously seems to last longer than it does. The progression is good, though I would have liked a bigger fanfare at the end, the keyboards make the day and this worthwhile listening to.
This artist is able to use a sense of sparseness that presents the listener with appealing smooth, colorful, uncluttered soundscapes. You'll hear some clear classical and jazz influences in these tracks. That fact that the recording quality is clean and rich sounding makes listening a pleasure as well as an interesting journey.
Nice ideas and harmonies. I like the electronic touch, the sound you chose (except the bass).
Etosha is my favorite track.
I don't like the very high sounds (like a feedback sound) we can hear sometimes.
Overall, a nice work.
i really like prelude. it´s so smooth.
too bad that it is so short.
i don´t really like the very high tones of the other tracks. the piano sounds very good!!!
don´t mix to many various sounds. less is more!
all the best.
Wonderfully ambient music. I especially enjoyed the second track.
Prelude is exactly that: smooth, quiet. I almost forget it's playing in the background.
Intermezzo invokes an urban night scene filled with jazz and concrete. I can see the city street life if I close my eyes. My favorite track on the release.
Etosha makes me think of water, in a less urban landscape. Maybe more in line with the African park of the same name.
Thanks for the recommendation.
Not bad, also I'm missing a little some melody, and a concept that lets me say "Yeah, that's it"... the surprising factor, the climax is somehow missing here.... to me, the music is somehow flowing like a river... nothing surprising happens, nothing realy kicks in.... but as an ambient, background-music or something like that it's dam good!
Sweet and technicaly VERY good!
Hello Etosha,
I like your music, I could see how it would be fit as a movie soundtrack or a good ambient for a trendy location. Good Work!
I especially like the drums on reebooting, VERY nice sounding.
Keep up the good job and if you have the time I'd appreciate if you could review my album on jamendo: Simmessa - The Way of Opening, also on http://simmessa.com/twoo (Extended version)
All the Best!
Simmessa
buon lavoro
I'll say the same thing that I said to my friend Oscar, pretty good music, it sounds like something you would hear in a movie. (In the street senario.
