Hello, Rank Reginald here...

I love this album, not sure about the track with the vocoder but only because I don't think the vocoder sound goes with the rest of the album.

My favourite track is Quatier Rouge (should it be Quartier Rouge?), my other favourites are 'Close to my Burns', 'Carde Ritano', 'Unreal Flight' & 'The Judgement'.

This band seriously have potential, I'd love to witness their music live... This type of music and this type of band would work so well in an intimate environment in a lounge bar or lo-key / jazz club, I'm not a fan of Pop music and I am very particular in what I like, Apatride?'s music - I definetly like.

This is some of the best music I have heard for a long time, seriously - I Love it! I love the dynamics in the lead singer's voice, her soft tone is so becoming and enchanting in some of the tracks (Unreal Flight for example). The acoustic instruments compliment this beautifully, this is not to say that that is all the insturments do - they make the music whole, the vocal sound and the guitars work so well together, the melodies of both compliment eachother perfectly.

The harmonies, which are present, and prominent in certain songs throughout the album are comforting and give such a nice warm effect. Personally, I love the sound of a 'well strummed guitar', and this album is abundant with lovely licks and rich sound, inducing almost a transcendant atmosphere. (If only it would take me over to France)

I know what I'm about to say may sound grandiose but, this is one of my favourite albums of all time. I am so eagerly awaiting another release from Apatride?, I can't wait. I'm from England, I live in the Midlands, when I listen to this album I can imagine I'm sitting in a bar in France, or on a balcony of an apartment, or on the beach, or in a resteraunt, wherever, this music is excellent.

Escapism isn't the only reason I love this music, (you can refer to my previous comments to confirm), I congradulate Apatride? on a brilliant album and hope that they are still making music, and that they are going to release something similar soon! Keep it up, your style is addictive, emotive, and just to my liking!

Thanks,
Jake.

The album is great. Soft guitar with a soft voice. I can't understand a word they sing (even the english tracks) but it sounds so nice and soft. Really, really nice. Just listen to it. I like both the calm and the lively tracks. Beautiful!
Also great album cover.

I would like to see some english translations of the lyrics. I didn't give the album 10, just because i just don't know what they sing about.

A great album. I'm still trying to download on BitTorrent (2 days now and only 1.7Mb on disk), but I transcoded the streamed files so I can listen to it until the download works.

The multiple languages add to the appeal, and the fact that the vocals are sometimes a bit back in the mix rather than in-your-face dominating is also excellent. The album can thus be listened to on it's own or can be background music while you are doing something else (dinner-party etc.) without demanding total concentration.

It's time to reactivate my PayPal account so I can send them money and then maybe they'll release some more albums. I'd buy this as a CD in the shops, so getting it free is incredible.
