Ethereal Vocals

Shaëna's ethereal voice floats above earthy sounds and rhythms. The ambient sound of dripping water and the use of reverb complete the gloomy atmosphere. There is a definite Gothic feel to the album.

My favorite tracks are Gloomy Sunday and Can't See You. I'm looking forward to more songs from this artist.

i love electric darkness on this album. dynamic multi effected vocal is sweet & beautifull. breathy, sexy & dark! i think whats i love from this music is i really feel the feminime ambience on this song! really love it!

Stay pretty...

Suits my mood perfectly, what with my not so pretty madness. Who cares, they can't see. Cancellation is what I need because unlike Shaena, my world is not pretty and I can only dream of being a butterfly. If only life was so beautiful and ephemeral. If only life was as good as this album, nice work.

Worth a second listen

I played this EP in the background, then I had to turn it up to get a better listen. Track 2 is SUPERB, with the keyboard riff similar to Toy Soldiers - Martika/Eminem, nursary rhyme style. Great dynamic mix in the drumbeat on this number too, a mix of tempos, drum & bass style. Maybe some of the sounds could be thickedned up with greater use of layering- I think there's room for a little more instrumentaly wise as long as there's not too many extra notes.

Haunting Spooky at Times, Great Vocals & Music

I found this album, very haunting, and spooky at times,with darkness in it's lyrics and vocals as she sang.

It was sad, interesting, diverse, evoke, strange, electro, ambient, melodic, and so much more, it stood out from other albums, as she has a diverse and talented style of vocals and music that suits her voice and range.

It's the type of tracks that would, go over in my mind, long after, I had finished, listening to the music. Like a tune from a song, that you just can't forget!
