In his 2009 album FLYING CHORDS, Patroux has produced a nice mix of midtempo and upbeat songs that show the artist at the top of his craft. Showing a fine command of harmony and excellence in his choice of musical timbres, Patroux has given us an album that is a joy to listen to from beginning to end. Though somewhat difficult to single out tracks from this collection, CASSIOPEA comes across as the best of a solid bunch: Patroux flexes his keyboarding skills with great aplomb (I could easily imagine this as a great tune to be played live). GRAND CANYON also merits special mention as Patroux's tasteful restraint at the keyboard just makes the song for this listener. Overall, there's not a bad tune in the lot and I am recommending this album wholeheartedly.

Patroux always pulls out a triumph. I have been listening to this album all night as I did my work and felt so relaxed, inspired and with a light heart. What more could you ask for? All these pieces are well balanced and beautiful and composed with talent. Good job and thank you for sharing.

Exceptional sound scape of beautiful, nature, lounge, ambient, new age, instrumental, chill out music. Fantastic album, to relax, kick back and simply enjoy this atmospheric calming, zen like master piece of musical talent.
