Ah, Fenrir's much anticipated second album. And as I'd hoped, the sound quality is *much* improved!

Hauntingly beautiful vocals with evocative lyrics, excellent interplay of the instrumental lines, and overall a stellar performance. Very good composition, and some very distinctive melodic lines and textures.

Some of the ideas developed at certain moments of many of the songs are novel and brilliant. I'm writing this review on only my second listen through the album and already I'm finding I have some favourite moments. Very impressive.

Fenrir is obviously a band with a great love for their music, who delight in playing and singing together, and this comes across even more strongly on this album. I give it a 10.
