This album draws a heavy influence from the Melvins along with Six Finger Satellite, Neptune, and Jesus Lizard. It covers several genres while simultaneously sticking to a similiar formula of heavy distortion, plodding basslines, and lengthy songs for a large portion of the album. It is rather lo-fi and contains a limited amount of mastering. Different musical backgrounds played a large part in the overall sound of this album along with broad tastes in sound effects, inexperience, and a penchant to cause annoyance.
Emergency Biscuit (step 2 of 2) is probably best described as the step child of early nineties alternative rock and punk-funk rhythms, but is generally speaking a bit noisier then either of those can really claim to be. Sounds of various homemade objects are staggered throughout the album.
