Yes, definitely a horror show, an eerie start . . . with the flapping of something across the vision of your ears . .. you know something is near . .. as big, engulfing sounds explode through these fluttering creatures . . (Eclosion)
A subterranean sound follows with shots fired across the horizon, an engine is groaning, a battle is in gear . .. the percussion and the strings are deceiving in that they are not presented as melodic beings but part of this horror . . . part of this mechanical devising . . .(Horrhoe)
A darkness descends upon the head of the listeners, and a damp fluttering sound, of a large and nasty beast . . . heavy with suggestion, we hear it creeping up on us. . . flapping and approaching . . . our hairs stand on end. A train, a car flies by disturbing this entity even more . . . oh will the flapping of its wings never stop? Music most gothic and dark maintains the integrity of this beast .. .. suggesting there must be a light for this winged thing to reach for . .(Golden Butterfly)
A deep bass, subtle and muffled . . . droning, muttering, sputtering . . . we are apprehensive as we listen, somewhere a beating, somewhere a heart . .. in a cave so dark and deep, full of dangers and coldness . . . (Frostbitten Heartbeat)
More flutterings, small footsteps cross our perception, screams and groans .. . deep moanings . . A hellishness . . . an abyss, an ever-burning torment. (Wither)
A misbegotten piano. . . a tormented being expresses an anguish . . . softly, perhaps even delicately . . . yet it cries . .. (Fragile)
The depth of sound here was excruciatingly perfect. Each note, instrument, sound, and nuance was carefully and clearly chosen to lead the listener down the path of disturbing darkness and meaning. I found this work to be excellent poetry, dark and meaningful with ambience and delicacy to extract every emotion from the listener. Excellent to listen to as an adventure to the hearing.
