Small, repetitive, exactly as title says minimalistic music made of basically 2 leading motives: one melodic and one drum scheme.

"Palilalia" is basically phrase-motif based music.

It carries a synthesised sound with a techno feel and beat. The tracks carry a very prominent drum beat with is sprinkled with a number of riffs on various instruments through out. The riffs are vastly diverse in style and vary from Latin to Arabic.

The mixing does drop a bit at various points, but overall the tracks are reasonably well finished.

The album art suits the theme of the album. Yet, a little more attention could have been paid to it.

Palilalia's minimalistic nature makes it great for use as background tracks of various media. It can also be used as ambient music.

"Palilalia" is definitely worth a download. Amateur filmmakers and event managers might also take keen interest in it.

My opinion follows:

A very appealing listening experience. Clear and touching in my favourite parts (the more quiet, empty ones) but the sound grows too large for me sometimes, when the high tempo doesn't let sounds live and expand. Some migth not agree with constantly vibrating sounds suiting minimalism, but I like them and for me they, with tempos used, create a familiar technological soundscape.

In future masterpieces I would consider cutting/diluting some melodic elements and adding silence as stronger element. It could give more power to remaining sounds. Rhytmic devices are minimalistic, but the tempo could be lowered for different sound dynamics.

I liked this album a lot. It reminded me of some of the cool background music one hears in computer games. The music could be used for various video genres.

This rythm and hypnotic beat has got me! Realy taken this beat.

This is fantastic ambient music. It never gets in your way, it never tries to be the focus of attention. It simply exists as a series of minimalist tracks.

Wonderful!

Yes, I think that this is a bit like the theme music in the Classic shoot-em-up computer game ... "Descent". It could well be a saleable item to a games manufacturer.

Compare with original "Descent" theme music at

There is no doubt that the music did increase the popularity of that game, and it still has loyal fans today. No doubt your music could do the same for some other games manufacturer.

Best of Luck
