Born 2 Die, are we not all, to be short about it. Try and get a bit of living done in between the points. Put it in terms of wave/particle duality as it is classically known. The particles will find their own way, so just enjoy the wave on the way. As a track I like it, nice pace and frenetically charged. What is the point? Wave/particle, there are many, how long do you stay? Fractions of a second and moments can be miles apart. Striatum (Red Vision), maybe picks up on the bloodlust that seems apparent, but it has been a part of life ever since someone first said 'once upon a time'. However, these days that is so much more potentially cataclysmic and dangerous. For what? A bit of misguided red mist? Is that worth the price of a world and millions of 'lives and loves'?
The twittering of birds has always been an important part of my overall listening experience. Some think them mindless, but I have always been fascinated in trying to understand 'what' is being communicated. It must surely revolve around communicating the will to survive. Some do that in flocks and certainly at least pairs, with the aformentioned propagation in mind. There will be lone ones. We anthropomorphise that and attribute human emotion and situations to that sometimes. NWO is vaunted as an option, but as it seems one that economically doesn't pan out, because there is a levelling function needed to incorporate poorer states and that means equalisation of profits. Not quite what they had in mind. I will stay being a part of a pair, for now. And leave the communication to lead the way.
Burn Your Money, kind of backs that up. The Euro, again I see an attempt at assimilation but nationalism gets in the way of unity for fear of total loss perhaps. Not sure. As a statement, fine I can see the point, as a track, brilliant electronic work, as a gesture difficult, but not impossible. Somebody somewhere has got a lot of money and until they let it go, I don't hold out much hope of things changing. One person can make a lot of difference. Hope they are listening. Anyway, Amygdala (Blue Fiction). Very interestingly appropriate and poignant. Possibly my favourite track. And talking of memory, it brings back a sense of punk standoff from the late 70s early 80s. Overall, a fine little collection of tunes. Thanks for sharing.
