Album description
Compositions ou parfois improvisations, ces musiques, créées en 2008 et 2009, ne sont pas sous une forme définitive, ne se figent en aucun absolu. Chacune d'elles demeure une possible fenêtre ouverte vers une autre création.
Les pièces 1, 6 et 9 ont été enregistrées avec des effets électroniques.
La pièce Narval est inspirée du roman Du bon usage des étoiles de Dominique Fortier, paru aux Éditions Alto (2008), qui dépeint, entre autres, une expédition dans l'Arctique au XIXe siècle.
Lézard Aztek est un rêve fait à la belle étoile.
L'image de présentation est un détail d'une huile sur bois que j'ai peinte en 2000.

This work comprises some of the musics I've composed in 2008 and 2009. I don't regard them as definite works. They can evolve into something else and each of them can be a path leading elsewhere. Hence, the word "Mouvant" I chose to describe my genre and that I would translate as "Shifting".
Tracks 1, 6 and 9 have been recorded with electronic fx.
Narval is inspired by Dominique Fortier's novel Du bon usage des étoiles (2008) which depicts, among other things, an ill-fated 19th century journey into the Arctic.
Lézard Aztek is a dream under the stars.
The sleeve image comes from a painting I made in 2000.
