This music is so striking and so beautiful . . . it is a precious legacy left by a beloved treasure . . one of Jamendo's own musicians . ..
and it is the listeners who are ever grateful for these gifts . . . freely given and freely shared by a generous soul . . .

Rest in peace, dear Marijan . . . and thank you . . .

The choice upon some very pleasant female voices, brings to this album a sort of lightness and extra beauty, despite there is a bit more rock incidence, by comparison to the album "Fairy Tales & True Life", but the Celtic and Medieval spirit, are always very present and revealing. Interesting and truly alternative.

Again, my respects.

This album brings me back again and again. Something new is apparent after each listen. Good work!! Melodies are clean and the songs have a fluid pace.

Very nice release, in a genre that deserves more attention (and it is for sure one of my favs): folk rock. I just love it :)

Great album! Much harder than "Fairy Tales & True Life", I appriciate it. It's really an amazing compilation of folk rock, traditional and almost metal pieces.

For me there are only few small disturbing details:
- Bianca's 's' in "Sorrows of Yesterday"
- Der Totenführer sounds like worse Rammstein
- singer's a bit strange English with German accent
- sometimes the effects in the background are somehow too artificial
Otherwise, this (full-length!) album is awesome.

I've got so much Celtic heritage that this album reminded me of the songs my mother used to sing to me... I drifted off to sleep and realized I'd dreamt of the songs. :)

"Red is the Rose" was perhaps my favorite. I plan to memorize it!

All in all, very lovely, smooth, and fantastic in its nature.

Hello Marijan,

since I heard this album the first time, there are some evil earwigs hunting me all days :D

The most catchy tracks for me are the german pieces. Menschen Schmerz, Holde Maid, Oh Maedchen - immediately took place on my all time favourite-list.

The message in Menschen Schmerz is so old, but true for ever. The arrangement is lovely too: medieval bards style, with modern influences, yam yam. If I could I'd spent one of my lifes in the time of bards ands knights and fairies... :D

Oh Mädchen is cool, somehow it may have inspired Rammstein too - even if it is completely different from that - it was the first thing that came to my mind.

Holde Maid: took my mind back to the time where I loved a blond girl long long ago... thanks for this love song - it blast's away thousand other songs that I heard. Again the loved medieval style, with some metal and rock, cool...
