All the pieces on this album have been wirtten in a way which indicated no rhythm, and the performer has great freedom about several parameters.

For Prepared Piano I

Inspired by the work of John Cage (1912 - 1992), I wrote my first piece for Prepared Piano. The preparation is very easy, pencils and erasers are used.

For Prepared Piano II

The Preparation is more complex. This piece is written in an ABA - form.

Freeware (piano + electronic media)

My first attempt to create music for a performer and electronic media.

8 Landscapes (live perfomance) (piano quintet)

This piece was wirtten for a competition in Vienna. There are eight movements, describing landsapes (mountains, savannah, hills, rainforest, desert, the plains, lunar landscape, city). It is played by piano quintet.

12x20 (piano trio)

A very calm piece, it is inspired by Cage's later work with chance operations.

Aleatoric Fantasy (piano trio)

In this piece, there are used several unusual techniques of playing the piano, the violin, and the cello.

This music is brilliant and serious. These forward-looking works are the very things which determine the future of how human beings co-habitat with musical art.

I performed in the "Xperimental Chorus" in San Francisco in the 70's. directed by Dr. Hermann LeRoux, S.F. Conservatory of Music - Before one of our performances, Hermann told us that John Cage phoned to tell the Xperimental Chorus, "Remember, energy is form."

Composers create with passion but then work so hard to "get it out there" of course the latter my be difficult and unrewarding, I am pleased and moved to find the resource of Jamendo.com to be ultilized (at last!) for the grander purposes - being available to experience this remarkable music. (Applause!*!*!)
