Opus Solemnis (L'oeuvre
solennelle)

C'est un mélange de travaux tout récents, de
commandes,
et d'anciens travaux. C'est aussi l'album qui uni improvisations et
compositions, parfois les deux ensembles.

Les pistes marquées * ont été
spécialement créés pour une exposition
de Anne et Gil.

Les pistes marquées + sont le fruit d'une improvisation
autour
d'un thème que je ne parvenais pas à
clôturer.

J'espère que cet album vous procurera autant de plaisir que
celui que j'ai eu lors de sa création.

Autocritique

Opus Solemnis n'est pas un album où j'ai cherché
à
faire un sans faute, au contraire, certains de ce Forum m'avaient
conseillés de me laisser aller, c'est ce que j'ai fait, j'ai
cherché le vivant et non la bonne interprétation.

Il souffre toujours d'arythmie, d'hésitation et cette fois
ci
d'accident plus marqués, mais c'est pour laisser place
à
la vie, j'espère que vous m'en pardonnerez.

Il existe une autre
version
« des aléas »,
beaucoup
élaborée et vertueuse, mais ce sera pour une
prochaine
fois

Don't know why, but from time to time reminded me soundtracs from "Heroes of Might and Magic" (game) and "Zatoichi". :-)

What a delightful rest from the work-a-day world and all my troubles. Very nice arrangements in the album. The piano and other instruments were played beautifully and with a lot of creativity and talent. One of my favorites, "Les Preparatifs" had a neat male choir which had a medieval sound. I liked "Le petit bonhomme..." for its delicate prancing melody. And "Prelude" is just beautiful.
Although the track "Jeu de plate formes" seemed out of place on this album and jarred my senses a bit, I think the piano music was outstanding and the album had a gentle ambiance with a sense of intimacy.

I must admit that browsing through the various kinds of music on Jamendo, I was touched by this beautiful and overwhelming set of sounds combined together to this marvelous result.

Nothing is more enjoyable/relaxing than listening to solo piano music! All songs beautifully done, though sounding different and picturing different emotions.

My personal favorite is "Ne a Honfleu".

One of the most beautiful pieces on Jamendo. I stand by my arguement that the piano is one of the few instruments where one can actually feel the artist in their music and Opus Solemnis solidifies those arguements.

Soothing to listen to and breath taking at the same time.

Ta musique est toujours d'un niveau difficilement comparable.

Harmonie parfaite des notes et accords, sonorité savamment dosée, une musique qui trace un chemin qu'on ne se lasse pas de suivre....

Je souhaite de tout coeur que cela continue ainsi.

Very Very NIce album here. Les préparatifs reminds me a lot of a song I heard in DJ Doboy Megamix13 Disk2. but no shame suggested very pretty album and very cool
