Tracing Arcs have a place among the finest artists that I've ever had the pleasure of discovering on Jamendo. It's a rare treat to discover music so beautifully written, performed, and produced.

Inevitably, comparisons with Portishead and Massive Attack are bound to come to mind when listening to any artist playing this sort of music, and the similarities certainly stick here. However, this is far more than a simple carbon copy of a tried and tested formula. Instead, Tracing Arcs have built on the genre, and have made it their own, and for that they deserve recognition.

Highlights of the album for me include "Crytalk" (loving the electric piano work here!), "Through a Glass Darkly" and "Desperate Measures".

Truly a beautiful album that should be heard by anyone who's got the time!

I became familiar with this release almost a year ago on D.W.K.s website and promtly sought out all the other material these fine musicians had created.Today I still rate Crytalk;Through a Glass Darkly and Desperate Measures as highly now as I did when I first first heard them.Paul your compositional skills are impeccable and this coupled with Fran's sophisticated vocals makes a potent mixture and I await your next release with great anticipation.

I came across this album on Jamendo...Truly refreshing, beautiful, and inspiring... check out "CryTalk", "Desperate Measures", and "A Pig and a Cow"...now playing on All Tribes Radio

This is a really good album I like all the tracks , loads of atmosphere and great lyrics .

This a masterful combination of heartfelt lyrics delivered with conviction, embracing the seductive sounds and stunning soundscapes. There is a real delicacy to the overall sound, and a clarity that is rare. Highlights are "Crytalk" with it's subtle urgency, "a pig & a cow" has that real swampy flavour. "Through a glass darkly" will drift you off to unknown lands with its nujazz tinges, "Icefloes" had me "frozen" in awe, and the melancholy of "My 2 favourite saints"
made me remember lost friends. It is unfair not to list the others, as there is not one bad one on the album, believe me!
Make your summer all the better and download this album, and tell your friends.

Paul has done an excellent job on the keyboard but it is Fran that makes you fall in love with the music. Keep up guys. Thanks for touching deep inside my soul. I just wish I could download it.

Mmmmmmm profound, beautiful, atmospheric, captivating, my mind and heart, soul as I checked this moody, haunting, delightful, aromatic, stirring, passionate, soul searching and delightful, interesting, spiritual, heavenly, drool worth, inspirational, talented, musicians, singer and use of great lyrics. I loved every minute of this tantalizing dreamy album. ps This ladies vocals, wow, is perfection and can really express, emotions to an excellent standard and captures the essence of the music, spirit and soul of the album so well, with just her voice,
