Album description

In the midst of 'Economic madness'...what once 'was' is "no more"...
but still....we are 'here'.
The Totalitarian Tiptoe continues as always...giving rise to more wars and other unspeakable monstrosities.
Painful to those of us who are aware.
But yet we are aware!
...and what is more...we are aware of our awareness.
This is the magick of the Lucid Dream...
What a time to be alive.
Ah and we are of the divine spark...!
We are gods...all of us.
Long ago...We were genetically enhanced to become the slaves of those who previously laboured in the mines.
We are the children of Enki.
Even though we have the signature of the slave, we have arisen above our lowly station.
Now we can turn the baser metals & transform them into the alchemical gold.
Spiritual Alchemy.
Bliss is only a second away.
What are you waiting for.
Use your breath, for it is spirit.
You will ascend.
This is not a question or a supposition.
It is a fact!
Do not fear death...for without death there is no rebirth.
When the time has come...The mirror will be put in front of U.
What will you bring to the mirror?
What will you reflect?

Bring hate to the mirror...
The mirror will reflect hate.

Bring love...and ascension is yours.
You are the mirror - and the reflection.
Fear is the mind killer.

In the materialistic, hypocritical apathy of our century, Ralph Buckley is one of those stubborn voices of protest - a modern troubadour of freedom (which in itself has ended up being a fairly relative concept, especially considering the way this world has turned out and what it threatens to become in the future).

"Heretic" poetry accompanied by tender melodies (Neptune, Mary Magdalene & The Song of Solomon) assuages the "angry", contagious dynamism of tracks like Freedom, The Secret Sun or Sick & Tired; but the most poignant song of this album is The Sacred Oath, a hymn to what remains obstinately pure and beautiful in the human soul - the one and only true antidote to the atrocities being committed all around us, in the name of these exact same values people have fought and sacrificed themselves for over the centuries.

High up there, the soul of Phil Ochs will definitely be rejoicing...

Mary has the perfect voice, for this type of music, from blues, folk, indie, acoustic, alternative with such heartfelt, passionate, honest, raw, homely, down to earth, emotional, vocals. from a woman with outstanding talent and a truly great voice at that .. And a partnership with Ralph Buckley, tops it all off with two, great artists working together. This is definitely an experience, pleasure and truly awesome, brilliant, album you don't want to miss, let alone, really take the time, to relax, sit back and saviour and truly enjoy. A must keep album forever.
