Deep, tranquility, soothing of the heart and soul, is heard, very atmospheric, penetrative, ambient flowing, noise, sounds, in this music, that hits the nerves system and the spirit/ soul within, with a trance like, meditative, state, to the minds eye.You travel to space and beyond, and travel to place on this planet from Egypt & Asia and further, reach deeper into ones own, subconscious mind, and being, spiritual wakened and wiser for this amazing experience had by checking this track out..

Doc, has crafted a master work of profoundly sinister and menacing overtones. It starts with a single sustained note- a pure Sine Wave- that gradually expands in pitch and range that evokes a sense of vast space and darkness. The pace is slow and methodical but never ponderous or boring. Close your eyes and you may feel as if you stepped in a cavern so expansive is the sound.

Author H.P Lovecraft is known for his works of horror and fantasy fiction which are easily the literary descriptions of Sphinx's Musical landscape. Nightmarish creatures and fantastic vistas abound and Fans of the author and genre are encouraged to add this extended play single to their library.

Allow it play softly in the background the next time you read of Cthulhu or the Necronomicon. You will have a frightfully good time.

The cover image is very fitting too - the general impression is very much alike the track's own.

Pace of this piece suits the title. I can imagine sphinx there in desert watchind dunes slowly movin, quiet mountains in desert starry nights. She lies there conteplating oblivious to aeons pasing by. Doc and Lena don't harry here, sound moves around mystical monument slowly like sand. This is difficult piece I think couse musicians must hold the pace - very precise timing full with patience and never loosing main theme which is red thread throug 23 minutes.

Like it very much

Good atmosphere from the start, suits the cover, which has a nice hue/timbre. As has been said it takes you back to a time, when music was more emphatically linked with nature and surroundings, which in this case includes the awesome constructionism of the Egyptians. Out of place space fillers, which is kind of how the track comes across. Such animism these days tends to be more cloaked in the technical and technological diversions that create layers of interpretation and reception. The progression seems quite slow, subtle and fairly minimalistic. As for darkness, I think that could have been developed a touch more, but it comes across quite well as the track tentatively progresses. Meditation I think is for single people, couples without children, and a good way to fill the void if, and this might sound paradoxical, you have the space to do so.
