lounge groove downtempo cool chillout
There are some nice, powerful pieces on this album . . . jazzy, saxophone, lively bongos, standout percussion . .. all in "Attirance."
While, "L inconnue qui passe" featured a honeyed bass foundation with other quirky and jazzy influences flying through suddenly, giving the listener a uniquely surprised feeling and a desire to hear more of that song as it was the shortest on the stack and the favored one. And quite charming.
"Obsession" was a little dark with a lot of intrigue and passion, heavy on the percussion, with a great tempo . .. I could visualize a choreographed stage production with this song . . . it has a story to tell and a changeable mood. Very creative, very good.
"Organisme" was a feel good piece with some discourse between a series of instruments and a feeling of primitive sources, instruments that play themselves, an earthy feel with the chanting vocal, and I could listen to this one for hours too . . . I loved the moody vocals and the drum . .. all perfectly pitched to resonate deep in my chest.
Loved, loved, loved this album . . . lots of creativity and thought to mood and maintaining a flow throughout the album, yet with enough astonishing diversity within the tunes that the levels of interest and regard were never dropped by the listener.
Chriss Onac, knows how to make great music, that drives us wild with desire, and passion, for his great talent in music. Like this album, that is , fantastic, hypnotic, catchy, deep bass line,,electronic guitar, psychedelic, funky sounding at times, lounge, groovy, cool, energized, powerful, rock-ish, music, to entertain us from start to finish on this awesome, dynamic, charismatic, outstanding musical experience.
I must say, I really loved the vocals on "Organisme" and that track in general, it drove me crazy with desire, listening to that trance, like hypnotic, catchy track out. Don't get me wrong, I loved all the tracks, but that one was my favourite. And also loved the trumpet playing in general on this track. Gave it soul.
