What a great performance! Incredible jazz album with incredible jazz moments inside each track. I can't hide my preference for most of the first 7 tracks that made me listen to them again. And that's good.

Listening through the whole album I noticed some influences from some jazz artists I respect but also the uniqueness I anticipated. Keep up the good work!

Where else in Jamendo can find straight ahead jazz that's havin this much fun? ..didn't think so...
I hear sweet guitar lines that remind me Charlie Christian, crazy aspects of Dizzy, solid bass (crazy bowing solo!- track 4)support with taste, horns kill it throughout - drums = in the pocket.

and yes - it's essentially free jazz - but isn't that the very definition of jazz? - it can be tight as a hat - or blowing loose and having a blast!
I seriously Enjoy this stuff! - btw who pens the themes on these tunes - is that you, Pharma? Wow!

I can relate to the cassette tape on the cover - I have boxes w/miles of cassette tapes from back in the day - amoungst the tapes are a few gems -

This sounds like a bunch of friends having fun together, but it also sounds like they're immersed in the jazz tradition and dedicated to their craft. Their blurb says they were influenced by Ornette Coleman, and although I love Ornette, this didn't really sound like free jazz to me -- more like bop and standards.
