Morning Will Tell

Here are some songs from the time of “The Sky Is Falling,” previously released on jamendo; the differences are, a) several songs have been re-mastered from the original 4-track cassettes, and b) the rest are – to the best of my memory – never-before-released tracks. These “lost songs” include:

• Keep On (instrumental)

• Stranger Than Fiction

• Albatross

• The Face of Danger

• Morning Will Tell

• (A rough draft of) Keep Me Around, and

• Fading Away

The re-mastered songs are:

While these songs – or rather, the original tapes thereof – are lost due to disintegration of the tapes themselves (darn it!):

• Shake My House Down (Someday...)

• Since I Could Say So, and

• Second Sight

Essentially, the acquisition of a used (in fact, discarded) replacement 4-track recorder has allowed me to dig back into several shoeboxes full of recordings. This batch of four cassettes is from somewhere around 2004. I am singing, playing guitar and bass, tapping on a drum machine, and occasionally playing keyboard accompaniment. I hope you enjoy this collection.
