This isn't going to be the most useful review.
I absolutely love this album. I particularly adore Dreamworld, which has been playing on loop in my head for the past week. A little context: a friend and I discovered this track when looking for music for a 48hr filmmaking challenge. By right, we should have been bloody tired of listening to the same thing over two days.
We still listen to Dreamworld. We sing it in the halls, we sing it in class, we hum it during lunch, and what more, so does everyone who heard it.
I'm not a music aficionado, so I can't talk about chord progression or harmony or musical interpretation of the fourth note in the song, but I'm a human being, so I *can* talk about the little flutter of the heart when the chorus comes up, and the carefree refrain laced with melancholy that echoes in the deep shadows of the heart.
This is a aural equivalent of the rainy days you curl up in your couch with a book and a steaming mug of something comforting and chocolate and cookies and your cellphone ringing ignored under a blanket.
This is amazing.
