Album description

My little surprise: as promised the 8-bit re-programmed version of "The Camel Song" as I called it yonderdays...

It was created using Vice-X11 for Mac OS X, with Chris Huelsbeck's Soundmonitor 1.0.

This is a song I made a very long time ago - when I was still spending most of my time on (and in) a Commodore 64. In a certain way it marks the turning point, where I developed my taste for electronic music.

For decades the melody lingered in my head - so I decided to recreate it, using the most original tools possible...

That's why I didn't process the song afterwards - the only edit is a fade-out.

Hehe This is pretty cool! Just like in the good old times! Listen to it and remember how much fun we've had with only 8 Bit on all the cool machines!

This tune reminds me somehow on a jump 'n' run game.

Good ol'vintage sound that reminds me of 4-color CGA (?) games ;-)
Simple and funny melody.
