Grazie Paolo,
non so quale "via d'uscita" tu stia cercando e non so se con questo tuo lavoro tu l'abbia trovata ma di sicuro conosci le strade della musica e con questo disco hai confermato quanto s'intuiva dal primo. Io dalla musica mi aspetto solo che mi emozioni e la tua lo fa.
Più di tutte mi sono piaciute "Third" e "In praise of honey rose"

He's done it again!

After being really impressed with Paulo Pavan's first album, I was excited to discover that he was still active and making music. And it seems his craft and skills have only improved with time. While "Inside" was a great album, on of the best I'd found on Jamendo, it felt a little too reserved and at times predictable, not in a bad way, but it was lacking that spark that makes for really vibrant, exciting jazz.

It's superb then to hear this album, which finds Paulo experimenting, taking more risks, and playing with a real, tangible passion. The ensemble he plays with are all musician's with great skill and feel, and they all complement each other perfectly (keep an ear out for the drummer too!) All in all, an excellent collection of pieces, and an album that should be listened to by anyone in search of great, well crafted jazz.

Feel the luxurious flow and warmth of this comforting, stimulating, beautiful, delightful filled jazzy, piano, instrumental, acoustic, melodic-al album fill with sheer heavenly pleasures as it did me, on listening to this captivating, aura filled mesmerizing-ly, beautiful, atmospheric-al, phenomenally, perfect album. Touch me deep within my heart and soul. Let alone chill me out totally, relax me to the core..to this very easy to listen to album.

Sono veramente impressionato dalla qualità di questa musica. Si sente che proviene dal cuore, che racconta una storia, un viaggio...magari a volte tormentato ma globalmente...pacifico. Penso di essermi ascoltato già 3 volte di fila l'album senza neanche accorgermene (plz. interpretate in modo corretto questa frase :P).
Il mio voto è massimo, pur non essendo un intenditore di questo tipo di musica, ma non importa, dato che mi ha trasportato.

Absolute perfection in jazz. I am surprised that I missed this one. Sorry, but here I am finally and here I stay for awhile enjoying this vivacious jazz; this very fine music; this jewel of an album. I really loved "Third" for the melody and the interplay between the instruments, the piano, the drums, the warm brass. Such love for my ears. The whole composition, the entire package is the best there is when it comes to excellent jazz. My only complaint is that it is way too short!

Wow!!! This is absolutely amazing music you make here. Thank you very much for sharing it - it was certianly a pleasure listening to it !
It's really top class music and I think that I'm well educated listener. It's certianly in the class of Pat Coil, Pat Metheny Group (Lyle Mays) and such.
