Excellent start, almost takes you off your feet, and then it reinstates your listening position. Settling down into a nice pace, with a excellent feel, it just works so well. Nice construction and blended in well, the fiction shows through (or, at least, I think I can hear such). And such was Dusk. Then, working from that starting point into the night with Light versus Shadow. Interesting that 'dark' wasn't used here. Shadow is more specific and suggests a presence, which would fit in with a storyline better perhaps. Either way, a thoroughly good piece of electro, nicely progressed and developed well. Which wins, well that is a bit of a chicken/egg scenario, I think.
Things seem to darken with the wonderful Nightblaster. Thoroughly entertaining and very well executed. Immersion is possible. Whether this is exemplary of what shade suits me best, perhaps. Although I am more inclined to think that such a decision is based on a constantly shifting variable. Rebirth (instantly I think of Wumpscut???), makes me wonder about memories and what I might retain when transmigrating. As a track, and all that wondering aside, another well constructed piece. Has a distinct atmosphere, particularly attributed to the skills of ADC Level. This artist has a unique and consistent sound foundation.
Dark Blood is lovely stuff. Makes me think back on the enjoyment found with certain tracks by Solar Enemy and FLA. This display of talent puts this artist into the fast lane for sure. Brilliant atmospherics. I love the beginning and end of Home, and it actually seems to work out quite light as the track develops, but then without the light, there is no shadow. Space Cohiba takes you out into the ultimate shadow of eternity. Another good atmosphere created. Having made it through the night, the listener reaches Dawn. The night retreats in the stark brightness of the new day. Nice cycle of perspectives, here and in real life, from dusk 'til dawn.
