Since the day I saw Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet, I fell in love with Shakespeare's work.
Mercutio' monolog had been trotting in my mind for some times, I had to let it out.
Hope you will enjoy this rather special work.

Enjoying it thoroughly! Mysterious, fun, dramatic, full of unexpected depths, and humour, oh I love the laughter. We could all be dancing to this! What pleasure you give with your music, Pierre-Marie!

This is a fun piece with an edginess of drama and a large dollop of humor . . . beginning sweetly with gentle sounds of music and the gleeful laughter of that fairy, Queen Mab. That dream maker, vision inducer is described in the speech from Shakespeare's play and the reading is very clear and easy to hear . . . the mixing is exquisite . . . and the background sounds during the reading is capable of drawing chills from the listener . . .
After the reading the music comes on full force with guitar and percussion to suit the drama of the piece . . . and the instruments pile on, upbeat and powerful . . .
An excellent album . . definitely entertaining and an enjoyable listen . . .

The festive nature of the second half of this piece perfectly captures the attitude of Mercutio, who speaks these lines in the play. The dreamy opening perfectly captures the fairies' midwife.

Do you know this was 7mins and 7seconds worth of pure and utter, intoxicating, beauty, thought provoking, thrilling, exciting, spectacular, let alone very interesting to breath in and be mesmerised by. To me this was just shows the tip of the iceberge of how talented let alone creative Pierre-Marrie really is.. Bravo!!

Quite a range of skills adeptly covered with this one single track. I have always been a fan of Shakespeare (or Bacon, depending on which history you go with). Either way, I found the literary style appealing, and some of the story lines are excellent. This interpretation reminds me of the Chaos Theatre. I saw them rendering Titus Andronicus, and it was amazing. Which is pretty much where this track gets to. I thought there was something peculiar about the voice and now I see why, as I read the preamble. Good words and, as I have come to expect excellent musical company.

Well this one is little out of Pierre - Maries main music line. But only on the surface. In essence it is same sensibility and feel for wide, and deep sounds. Incorporation and transformation of voice and rhytm is awesome, and this second part show us notty rocknroll side of our God's spy Pierre-Marrie.
(Laughs??)
