Album description

This is my 12th self-produced album. It is an orchestral suite based on the idea of a visitor in a museum who, while walking through the painting showing not so much interest, gets stuck in front of a painting on a corner of which, the face of a devil starts looking at him.

The visitor feels like he is being "sucked" into the painting and a very strange and uncomfortable voyage begins..

This is a voyage I hope never to take! That being said, this music is of epic quality. expertly produced and it certainly draws the listener in. I was riveted! It certainly depicts an abode of evil and condemned spirits. I felt my heart racing! Very intense, wild and dissolute with controlled abandon. Fantastic album. Bravo!! (The cover creeps me out!!)

This composer has a superb and variegated orchestral palette! I thoroughly enjoyed this.

The first entrance, as well as doing just that - entrancing, is dramatic and actually feels quite positive in a way. Devil's Stare gives the work a focus, slowly building the impetus of the import. A slow awareness building the sense of dread, just right. The Dance of Fallen Angels, a wonderful diversion almost, to further excite the imagination. Licking playfully at the heels of the visitor come the Flames. Very energetic and elemental. Again, there is an apparent reflectivity here. Maybe a chance to see the fire and brimstone as symbolic. Each to their own eschatology, of course. Ashes cover the aftermath perfectly well. The theme continues strongly. It is all wrapped up with Funeral, though the shroud as worn, goes through more of a dynamic dirge than a solemn procession. However, there is some tranquility to be experienced. Not that it lasts forever! Fantastic!

Thanks to coriandolo for the recommendation.

First the album cover - just scares the hell out of me - but given the topic - it should. I also think that this album lends itself well to a short video since the story is well outlined and the music so clearly defines itself.

The music is monumental and epic and quite addicting. I felt compelled to travel along with the 'visitor' as he experienced Hell. The strings in particular lent an air of awe-inspiring fear and apprehension, and the lightest of sounds was capable of making me flinch during this short album's journey. The balance of light and heavy was so conflicting that it just pounded on my senses and emotions.

The "Dance of Fallen Angels" was so exhausting to listen to . . . it painted such vivid pictures behind my eyes with its forceful dominating sounds and contrasting delicate tones; along with the empty spaces, tempo changes, and strange voices. It was extreme to say the least. Finally, I experienced despair during "Funeral" that I would ever be able to retract myself from this place. I don't think . . .
