Good stuff. A little too country or too commercial or too something for my tastes, but really enjoyed 'Sleeping Pills and Asteroids' for some reason.
Anyway, congrats on a polished piece of work.
Need some energy? Some fuel? Then check out the Gasoline Brothers right now! This is a great collection of Pop/Rock with an edge and just a touch of country flavor. Check out "Stardust Baby" on my second online radio show, along with a host of other great tracks here:

This album is eclectic mix of so many different rock styles and it all somehow seems to come together just right!
Definitely an interesting album. You won't be bored, that's for sure, and you're sure to enjoy a little bit of the music as you go along too! It seems like some sort of cross between pop and alt rock with a heavy alt vibe, but seems to span the entire genre of rock just a little. Also noticed influences from singer/songwriting, folk, and even country. Guitar is used heavily, but also electric production, piano, and other little interesting things. Lyrics seem very simplistic. Don't expect anything too deep or complex in that department.
Final verdict! Listen to it yourself! Download it if you like it. ;P
Hmmm TAGS?
Well I reckon the best tag could be "Cracking Good Album". The output is fresh uncomplicated and well blended With some nice quitar melodies woven into the background. The Vocals are clear and stand out.
all in all this is a brilliant rock, Indie, or pop composition perhaps even all three, not sure about the alternative tab though.
I have a problem with labels. Hell, I can't even really categorize my own stuff! But I can't call The Gasoline brothers alternative, unless they're an alternative to mediocrity. This is great pop by anyone's yardstick, and I love the 'exclamation' titles of their albums, it's a small thing, but these little commercial techniques go a long way to getting you into people's heads. There's a smattering of "They might be giants" fairy dust in there - especially on "sleeping pills and asteroids". All in all a great addition to the pop canon.
After the first thirty seconds I was certain I had a solid rock album, and it is! But a few tracks in we get everything from cool mixing/samples to honest feelgood tunes. A little bit of everything simply.
My only problem is really the kick-ass start with twice as high BPM then the rest of the album.
But hey, that said this is VERY likable and produced by (in my ears) a couple of pro's. These guys certainly got something to offer!
A really great vibe, atmosphere, from this happy, , catchy, energetic, passionate, fun, filled album. With really good vocals, and nice interesting lyrics and unique tv sound samples.. This music makes you tap your toes. And feel like joining in with the lyrics to these tracks. Type of album I could picture in some, Top20 chart list, for rock, indie, alternative music. With even that added touch of country heard.Great sounding, great fun, great album.
