Parts 1-13 - Ambient atmosphere, relax, drift away, dream, fall asleep til your cd player falls on the floor and your ears hurt from the earbuds. (My first experience with this album.)
(My second experience)(I'm awake here)
Very enjoyable music. Many layers and depth to this instrumental, ambient, new age music. All the parts just flowed together - a music most kind to the spirit after a hard day or during meditation or prayer. It had a slight Eastern flavor on occasion. Part 4 was slightly more dramatic with the drums and flutes, subtle but ensnaring you up that mountain, and the wind sounds up there, blowing through your ears. Very relaxing. (again I'm having trouble staying awake.)
Part 5 has that yearning sound that makes your heart ache, lovely, lonely, reaching, mysterious.
Part 7 - a little more lilt with some nice guitar strumming and vocal, leading to bird song on part 8. It is much like a climb up a mountain - refreshingly so.
Part 12 forces you to sleep with its flat tone straight across - you may as well lay down.
Part 13 - Heaven with choir, not euphoric but relaxing. All burdens are laid down.
Very enjoyable to listen to while awake or asleep. I loved it. I think it was well thought out and presented as a journey. The music is beautifully created and presented from the album cover to the quality of the sound.
