Oh Wow - what can I say - outstanding rock - in my day we would say, "What a trip, man!" and it was - an excellent trip. Every instrument was handled so well as to electrify the listener. These guys really impressed me with their outstanding work on this excellent and entertaining piece. There were many great unique parts to this trip "The Explorers" took - all seasoned with experience and creativity.
I was sorry it ended after seven minutes - but then I played it again . . .
Exceptional dynamic Space Rock with a life all it's own.
Tempo changes abound. The keyboards seem to play dueling banjos as counterpoint to the guitar work . The music is uplifting and larger than life , the solos are exceptional even though they are short . Mastery is used throughout and this should be used as a benchmark for bands that want to expand their talents.
It is rare to hear music put together so well . And to hear it from a band that has only got 5 other tracks ,that i know of... ( Every one of them as exceptional as this one ) is almost beyond my ability to comprehend .
Anybody that thinks that this band is just " another" band is sadly mistaken . And either has never listened to it . Or they have no soul or imagination.
Because imagination and soul are a couple of the key ingredients for the recipe for making music as good as this.
I am so glad that I discovered this band . They have not disappointed me yet . And I doubt that they ever will.
While listening to this song I constantly kept remembering Arjen Lucassen's works which I love. Really interesting piece as its melodic progressive and dark at the same time. The sound and the cover are both great. Maybe some vocals could really make this song epic - but that's just a maybe.
Totally facinating. Colossal, multifaceted, sound - expertly fused. A musical feast!
My only wish was that the transformation from the electric, spacial futuristic didn't dissolve quite so rapidly into electro rock. I would have liked a more gradual morphing with a bit less noise at the last.
But at the end of the day, it's an experience to be had :)
Euphoric, compelling, really interesting, powerful, dynamic, talented, enlightening, airy, charming, guitar solos by my favourite, guitarist Peer Gynt, he does, beautiful, sound-scape of delightfully, aromatic, stimulating, experimental, progressive, fusion, spacey, rock music.
That is fundamentally, amazing, excellent, cool, listening material that is en-powering, dynamic, cool, energetic, lightening fast, guitar riffs and quiet, ambient, soothing, gentle solo riffs as well on the electronic single, heard played to perfect and accompanied by the serene, elegantly, stimulated, synthesiser, drums, music as well.
Nice to see the sound and quality from the 1st single remains. Excellent guitars!
The sound is strongly reminiscent of the theme from Soul Edge, which is a strong grade.
Keep it up!
