There is not much to say here. If you haven't checked out NanowaR yet, you're missing one of the best parodies of heavy metal.

Awesome musicianship, goddamn hilarious lyrics and great ideas make them second to none, not even established artist like Knorkator or J.B.O.

Definately a 'must-load'.

If you're lost in a world of fake metal, don't give up, cause you have just found the NANOWAR OF STEEL! They will pick up the sword and fight with You for the pride of Heavy Metal.

HAIL TO NANOWAR!!!!

Truly, if there were a soundtrack for the words "Iron, Steel, and Epic," NanowaR would make up at least a third of that album.

Boldness is the key here. Not willing to merely touch upon all the usual cliches of this over-the-top metal-smackdown... NanowaR truly take these concepts to the next level and toss in a few new concepts that will surely rock the iron foundation of heavy metal. Tricycles? The number of the bitch? Truly pioneers of our time!

I docked it a point for its distinct lack of Odin references in the lyrics. But otherwise, this is true, pure, epic, unabashed, bombastic, powerful, straight-up Iron, Steel, and Tungsten!

If a bunch of Italians went and tried to make an album out of twenty-or-so English words they learned from metal albums, it would sound like this. Hilarious, charming, and yet, it's still darn good music. Even the parts in Italian are pretty self-explanatory (Pino, for instance, is funny with or without the language barrier).

Best Metal band ever. Just like they said.

I recently decided to delete the (free) music I didn't like. And so, out of ~17 GB of music, currently only five or so albums have been deleted. Nanowar is now among the F8ed. For those who know anything about metal, it'll be obvious the name is a play on Manowar - but not only the name. Lyrics, music, the attitude - it's all there, only (even more) exaggerated, much like a similar band from Finland, King'O'War. And it could have worked. Or should I say, worked better. You see, it's not like it's an horribly bad album. I just find it fails to amuse me, except in a few places. And since it's _parody_, that failure isn't forgivable. Reading the other reviews, I conclude I am the minority, so anyone who enjoys metal and parody should probably check these guys out.

On the strength of this album, I hereby proclaim the beginning of #ItalianMetalFriday on Twitter. Not much else can be said here. It's hard, it's tight, it's heavy, it's self-deprecating. I love metal songs about getting fast food.

I don't quite understand the album title, but hey...it doesn't get in the way of what I'm hearing. Nice work!

Nanowar just about keeps parody and aesthetics from eating each other, but they continue to scowl and stare at each other as joking repetition lowers the album's musical and artistic value.

Yet Nanowar succeeds at charging me with boldness and confidence;

'Noble and manly music invigorates the spirit, strengthens the wavering man, and incites him to great and worthy deeds.' - Homer

Music of this quality is what makes Jamendo great. This is REAL and TRUE METAL! (MEEETAAAAAAAL la la lala laaa!)

My favourites on this one are definitely KING and METAL-LA-LA-LA. I had a good chuckle when I realised that INTRUE and OUTRUE were listing heavy metals. Reminds me of that shirt... I'm sure you know the one...
