Tracks 1 and and 2 are great and so is the Townes Van Zandt cover.

All together there´s a lot that reminds of Townes Van Zandt, and maybe of Billy Bragg if he were american.
The mix with drums on left channel on some tracks are anoying / refreshing, depending on your politics.

A great atmospheric-al, intriguing, compelling, thought provoking, Country, rock, ambient album. Filled with good interesting,rough,strong male vocals. That makes you want to listen more and more to him sing. And great catchy,acoustic guitar music to match his voice.Let alone the mood of some tracks, really stick out in your minds eye. for example.well of the white calf (the grotto), feel the spooky, haunting, aura of this musical sound-scape..set the hairs on back of your neck, straight and tall..The more you listen the more, this album, takes on a new dimension and feel in general. Awesome..
