Pêche aux moules is the name for gathering mussels during the low-tide, which exists at the coast of Brittany (not only, of course). The Racoons used this symbol for the mixture of music coming from Ireland, Brittany, Scandinavia, Austria and Russia. Some music genres may be out of fashion, but when the sea is gone there is still something interesting in the sand!

Пешомуль (pêche aux moules) – это такая бретонская рыбалка, где вместо рыбы – ракушки, а вместо удочек – ведро и грабли. После отлива, когда море уходит, на обнажившееся морское дно выходят люди в резиновых сапогах. Разгребая мокрый песок граблями, они ищут зарывшихся в нем моллюсков. Примерно так же выходит на свой музыкально-археологический промысел группа The Racoons. Мода на рок-н-ролл и кельтский фолк ушла, но в песке времени осталось немало вкусного. А извечные грабли – это ли не символ простодушной российской ментальности? :)

Pêche aux moules !

En fait ce sont des coques que l'on voit sur la pochette !!
mais sur les rives de la Volga il n'y a de toutes façons aucun de ces deux coquillages à pêcher !
Peu importe, le principal et le plus étonnant c'est de retrouver de la musique celtique en général et bretonne en particulier dans cette région de la planète, et en plus c'est bien interprété, ça sonne bien et ça semble venir du fond du coeur.
Merci d'aprécier et de faire connaitre la musique des celtes en Russie.
La musique n'a pas de frontières !

Die Lieder "Dans Plinn/Ton Simple" und "Melnik" sind wirklich sehr schöner keltischer folkrock. Abwechslungsreich mit gutem Schlagzeug, Gitarre, Flöte und Geigen.

Dafür und für das herrlich schräge, makabere (Ah du lieber..)"Augustin" (..alles ist hin..) vielen Dank, The Racoons! =) Das erste Lied einer Russischen Band, dessen Text ich verstehen tu. ^^

Bretonische Musik vom Allerfeinsten - made in Russia! Erstaunt und zugleich hingerissen lausche ich alter Wahl-Bretone diesen Klängen ...
... und bin dabei mehr als frustriet, weil sich das Album auf keine der mir bekannten Vorgehensweisen runterladen lässt ("...ZIP-Datei beschädigt...")

Schade, schade, schade - weiß jemand Abhilfe?

Dennoch vielen Dank, euch "Waschbären"!
