Wow! A breath of fresh air...

Living in Baltimore is an interesting experience. I sometimes find myself torn between the darkness and the light, trying my best to maintain some form of positivity amongst the ever-present overbearing negativity that this city can often bring. Noticing a Bmore artist on Jamendo no doubt intrigued me, but i didn't expect much more than a 'gangsta pop' album repping Charm City. I couldn't have been more wrong in my assumption.

This artist tunnels his reality into smart rhymes atop soulful, jazzy, and mellow backdrops. A smooth lyrical flow with a message to be heard, imparting knowledge seldom heard in a me-first drug-slinging pimped out culture. The Black Sunn shines like a beam of light from another existence. Check this shit out!

Great hip hop album, polished to perfection.
intelligent lyrics with exceptional flow, maintainig positive attitude. i like the usage of jazz, soul, reggae elements, not reinventing the wheel but delivering high standard of musical craftmenship. Thanks for sharing, diggg!
