Album description

On the road to creating Spiral, her seventh album, musician/singer-songwriter Allison Crowe teams up with a longtime friend in orchestrator, arranger and producer Kayla Schmah.

Crowe, at home in, both, Nanaimo, British Columbia and Corner Brook, Newfoundland, (on Canada's Pacific and Atlantic coasts), and L.A.-based film composer Schmah first met, a decade ago, on Salt Spring Island, BC.

The pair are making art together today. "Oh, do not ask, 'What is it?' Let us go and make our visit." To keep music flowing while Crowe's upcoming album/CD is created, here's a pre-album version of "Going Home Tonight" (one of 11 different songs that will be in the collection).

The album cover is also a preview, and includes the image of "Look at Me" by Tara Thelen - a painting in the collection of Dutch art-lover Maurits Godschalx.

When it comes to anything by Allison Crowe regards to music and vocals, You can, but be reassured, it's always going to be a winner, when it comes to just said above name being mentioned, and sure enough this is more than a winner.. Her voice just radiates above this inspirational, heartfelt, beautiful music. And the lyrics she sings are so compelling and captivating. Let along Allison crystal clear, strong voice.. shining down on us from above, and into our hearts, minds and most of souls.. Bewitching, heavenly, dreamy, enchanting....

WOW!! I've pretty much discovered Allison's music yesterday and fell in love with it immediately! What a great voice! The lyrics to Going Home Tonight are great and I love the instrumental backing! As we have yet to hear the rest of the album, this song is a great preview! In my opinion, the song has exellent quality! I like the look of the album cover! It is an interesting design! I reckon Allison will be able to pull the song off live with or without the other instruments. It will sound pretty good with just Allison and her piano live! I only wish she could come to Australia as I'd definitely pay to see her! I can't get over how great the song is, nor can I get over Allison's voice! She is such a great singer! I really hope she becomes popular the world over as she deserves it! I'm even considering doing a blog post about this marvellous singer! If you read this Allison, I mean everything I say, you are fantastic! You do deserve the 10 stars I'm giving you!
