electronic house techno minimal tech
Superb sounds , Executed with style and panache'. Making "Discuss" one of my favourite Electronic albums . Mature production and original vibe .. Great stuff !
'Gum Man' nice N groovy peace of tech for ya listening pleasure.
'Agent Entropique' delicious base lines topped with some sweet crunchy subtractive &/or granular synthesizers make this track full of tasty rhythms for some treaty nibbles.
'W2K' funky little tit bits coated in gluey syrup
Brilliant in it's genre.Something different can be heard with this kind of music each time you hear it.
Listen & never stop learning :-)
Hi there
It really is too bad that most of the tracks sound quite repetitive and sometimes it sounds like you have tried to hard to get all kinds of sounds in them.
I personally think that the hardest thing about a minimalistic style is to keep the sound interesting enough and exciting.
My favourite tracks are 'Gum Man' and 'The Sound'.
The album certainly wasn't all that bad =)!
But I would have loved hearing some sort of *climax moment* in them.
Ah well, keep practicing hard and evolve your music skills =)!
Greetz!

Hello :),
It's been a long time since I left you a review (like almost a year ago!).
I just wanted to let you know that I think I was too severe back then and you really deserved more credit.
I think I just needed more time to get used to your sound & I really respect your work.
It truly is hard to find this kind of quality music (especially in the minimalistic genre), and I think you are one of the better artists out there!
Your music has kept me entertained for a couple of months already, and I still like it ;).
"The Sound" and "Gum Man" are still my all time favourites though, haha..., but I have come to appreciate tracks such as "Flux" too :).
And the rest is nice as well ;).
But I guess these are the ones that entertain me most.
Anyways, that's it.
I wish you good fortune & hopefully you will keep producing fantastic music ;).
Bye!
It's actually incredible how hard I've tried finding music like this... it's just so well done. You can tell how he fully understands the key element of sparseness in the various sounds. This really is completely awesome. It's being downloaded, added to my collection of music with Aphex Twin and such, and also burned to CD to listen in my car, as well as play for friends.
Bravo, you really have my respect on this one.
I'm a serious minimalist electronic fan, in respect of that I love it, other genres, 'house' for example, I can find quite unappealing. This album is trying to cover a lot of genres, and perhaps that's a little, over-ambitious. Nonetheless, the fact that effort and skill have been expended to satisfy my, and others, search for good music, is evident and the end-product comes over as an accomplishment. As 'electronica', it's great.
Thanks!-)
it happens only once in a while... discovering something online that will actually prevail the first euphoria! I downloaded the album a while ago… I still fucking love it… I think that’s the best compliment I could give…
it reminds me a little bit of
house at it’s best! it will definitely end up in my crate…
download it, share it!!!
