Album description

These tracks are demos from 2005 and 2006 self-recorded it the Factory and in the Mounto club. The Spyin Blues and Tig Fitz were from our very first demos - the second verse of Tig Fitz isn't even written yet when we recorded this version.

Crete Boom have been on hiatus for the last year so I thought I'd release these songs in case they never see the light of day and also to mark what would have been the forth anniversary of our first gig. There are plans to revive the Mounto club bigger and better, do some videos and to finish and release the rest of our songs...but will the band get back together? Keep Listening.

Another album of high standard,beautifully played(and sung) melodic rock.(exception noted below).Not exactly Horslips or Hothouse Flowers (would they want to be) but a
decent band with their own identity."The Spyin Blues" is a fantastic intro to this disc and my all time favourite by the band."Evil Brother" contains fine "celtic-folk" touches and is reminicent of the Newfoundland band Great
Big Sea.Hightly enjoyable.(Tho " A guide To Olde English" is poor, to the "Nth degree")

Wow....wicked, wild and fun filled....orgasmic music...and vocals ......straight ahead...warning you are going to love this...and be addicted.....vivacious,lively, extremely euphoria and happy sounding, jazzy,blues,electric guitar melodies with great use of drum beats and nice acoustic guitar solos and melodies also add.And a great voice that is passionate, loud and proud and traditional and gives me reminds of Ireland and the home counties....toe tapping great company of a cracker of a album.That takes you by the hand and leads you and dances with you all the way across and around it..

Genuinely great music with amazing energy, creativity, jazz, pop, rock, blues...... You name and these guys have it. Just don't see them on the gig scene in Dublin all that often.
The album 'Them Bones Need Oxygen' is a gripping listen with amazing lyrics, powerful singing, skilful musicianship and a must listen sound.
Pure and simple originality from Crete Boom.
