Nightmares DayDream: A Silent Film

Nightmares Daydream is the newest release from hip-hop producer/artist Tab. It is an abstract instrumental journey into the darker side of the imagination. All nine compositions were created with live keyboard,guitar,and some drums. Tab lends his voice on a few tracks but the focus here is the landscape created by the music itself. Originally planned to be released with a video for each track, Nightmares Daydream is a very visual album that bounces around various different styles of music.. Although all the videos aren't finished yet, you can watch the first three here......

I've listened to this album all the way through 3 times in the last 5 hours. Every time it ends, I'm disappointed because I want more. If that's not a mark of a great album, I don't know what is.

My current favorite on the album is "Falling in Love." Autotune is all the rage these days, but the song doesn't sound like everything else out there. I'm a sucker for autotune, anyway.

A great album. My only complaint is that it was too short. And now I'm off to listen to more Tab albums...

Now this didn't scare me or put me off, with that title or album cover. To be honest, it made me want to check this album out more. And wow. am I very glad. I did....I entered into uncharted waters and heard sights and sound I didn't expect to hear, see or touch.. The sounds vibrated inside my heart and soul. And took many a form in many a wonderful, appealing, thought provoking, stirring, imaginative way. I became part of the wonderful,experimental, triphop, nature, natural, instrumental, psychedelic, fusion sound-scape of dreamy, visionary. worldly music and vocals heard at times..
