This is really absolute professional and well done.
Love the acoustic sounds, especially the drum and bass parts are awesome.
Just groovin and chillin along, with nice Vibe and Sax etc.

Better Mixing Would Make This More Listenable

This album is recorded live. That's unfortunate. There's some great tracks here, especially "Be Free" and "Desert Road" both of which are very Rick Lathan-esque. However, these songs would sound better if they were recorded in a studio. The vocal isn't out front enough. The drums sound hollow and muddy, not crisp and sharp. I like these two tracks, but I'd prefer them recorded and mixed properly. The band shows potential, but this album isn't going to win a contract. Still, these two tracks are very easy on the ears and are worth the download time. The songs will mix well with other 'grunge jazz', but I prefer my music polished.

This is a high caliber, sexy, sassy, soul filled, passionate, arousing, laid back, chilled to perfection. Classy and so elegantly refined, loving, acidy-jazzy album. That is cosy, warm and so inviting. With great female vocals and a good reggae-ish male vocals add into the mix.With good upbeat lyrics. And a great sounds from the sax and drums and bass guitar and piano.All complied together to give of a great vibe and wonderful loungy energy and feelings of luxury and calm.

I'm scouting for new music to chill out to when working, and I found it with DO-UP!

With nice be-bops from that oh-so-cold voice of the singer (cold, in a very nice way. the kind that sends shivers down your spine because your stress goes down...) this album is definitely staying in my media player.

Not normally into jazz, but i really liked this stuff. I I heard more Jazz like this i would probably become a fan of the genre as a whole.
