This is really absolute professional and well done.
Love the acoustic sounds, especially the drum and bass parts are awesome.
Just groovin and chillin along, with nice Vibe and Sax etc.
Outstanding
I'm scouting for new music to chill out to when working, and I found it with DO-UP!
With nice be-bops from that oh-so-cold voice of the singer (cold, in a very nice way. the kind that sends shivers down your spine because your stress goes down...) this album is definitely staying in my media player.
Спасибо!
Was looking for some lounge music, ran across this, quite enjoyable.
Not normally into jazz, but i really liked this stuff. I I heard more Jazz like this i would probably become a fan of the genre as a whole.
Thank you for enlightening me.
I was wondering if you would mind if i played this out on my shows on N3XUS RADIO?
Aquesta musica es plan agradabla.
Top level! Great production! Thank you for sharing your beautiful music!
After downloading do-up's little demo a few months back I had to get on this one too. I shared the last release with my girlfriend which is strange because we have different musical tastes. Perhaps something in the music speaks to a variety of listeners.
This album doesn't disappoint at all. The live vibe keeps it energetic and the performance is tight. Vocals are great as ever (for those listeners who like lyrics and singing)! I take my lounge music with plenty of jazz and with do-up I know I'll get just that.
The sound quality is authentic - reminds me of good ol' 90s acid jazz. Another reviewer said the vocals weren't loud enough in the mix. The vocals sit fine for me!!
You know what we all want though... a full length album! ;)
I think these guys are talented and their music is definitely enjoyable... perhaps i'm just not a great fan of this kind of music
This album is recorded live. That's unfortunate. There's some great tracks here, especially "Be Free" and "Desert Road" both of which are very Rick Lathan-esque. However, these songs would sound better if they were recorded in a studio. The vocal isn't out front enough. The drums sound hollow and muddy, not crisp and sharp. I like these two tracks, but I'd prefer them recorded and mixed properly. The band shows potential, but this album isn't going to win a contract. Still, these two tracks are very easy on the ears and are worth the download time. The songs will mix well with other 'grunge jazz', but I prefer my music polished.
