Describe your album

This 4 song EP is a mix of old and new material from Momentary Prophets.  The opening song "The Unfound Door" is the first song written by the duo, over a year ago, they lyrics are based on a line found in one of Thomas Wolfe's poems.  The second song "GO!" has become one of the Prophets' signature songs among the circles they perform in.  "GO!" is about physics really, the lyrics would make even Newton smile.  "Choiceless" was completely written in one night and still bewilders the duo as to where it comes from or what it really means, several interpretations have been formulated, listen for yourself, tell us what you think it means.  "Point Your Lotus to the Sky" is based off a dream Ted {Prophet of Rhythm and Soul} had back in the late winter of 2007, it features sitar and guitar and is another signature song.  Please enjoy First Flight of Icarus and if possible provide feedback!!

Peace, Love, and Om to all...

I found the guitar work to be very clean, and while not cutting edge, it lends itself very well to the "feel" of the piece. Don't get me wrong, it was excellent use of instrument.

Of the four songs, I have to admit that Go! was my least favorite. It felt repetitive and shallow. I will give it a few more listens before passing final judgment though. The remaining three, however, were simple outstanding music. Highly recommended.
