That's all I can say, cool voice, straight production, yessss!
reminds me a little of rage against the machine, which is never a bad thing :)
Very nice vocals, high-spirited rhythms, vigorous melodies, general atmosphere reminding of some of the best '90s bands.
The beautiful minimalistic cover is another plus.
buen album con buena voz,el tipo de musica ke nos gusta a los progresivos, very good.
This is such an amazing album. Colorblind is now one of my favourite songs. Thanks :)
L'un de mes albums préférés, énergique sans être too much, un bon rythme, des mélodies entrainante j'accroche complétement , j'aime particulièrement le morceau: view from above
Lyrically it's impressive. Things like "there's no forest for the trees", in View From Above, are incredible pieces of writing. For me, when I listen to music I have to be able to relate to the lyrics, and I can definitely relate to Convey.
In addition to this, it has an appealing sound, and I like the melodies. The voice is great, but it does falter at times. This album is a favourite of mine from Jamendo.
I normally don't like Rock. One of my friends is a "melodic metal" fan and I told him about Jamendo, I also decided as well download some stuff for him and put it on a stick. Finding good music on Jamendo can often be quite a bit of a challenge, it seems that artist haven't really grasped that this is the future, so many amateurs upload their well attempted trash. This means lots of work for us listeners, because we have to sift through loads of "eary" insults, however, HOWEVER, I'm very happy to report that my brain likes Convey. That means a lot, because I really don't like Rock.
... both lyric-wise and musically. I adore the breaking of tempo and melody. And I do agree with AugieD's opinion that it "Withstands listening many times" -I have tried it myself for the past few days and vahe had to force myself to put on another Jamendo artist :).
"Monique" sends shivers down my spine, "View from Above" is potently stirring, the vocal in "Campaign Speech" is particulalry enthralling, "Colorblind" is rocking to the point that I will dance to it with my 5-year-old daughter, and the introductory "Chalkboard" sets the standards that the rest of the tracks uphold. Desparately looking forward to hear more from Convey.
