This is one of the most enjoyable, satisfying albums I've heard on Jamendo, and one of the best albums I've heard all year.

It's an odd kind of industrial pop, like a more chart-friendly Nine Inch Nails; but it lacks none of the bite of Reznor, it is simply lighter in tone and sound. The vocal style and general computerised rock feel are the most 'industrial'/Reznor-like aspects of the music; but Fresh Body Shop has his own definable personality and style that shine through on this record.

It is impossible to pick a favourite track; they are all excellent. The songwriting is extremely well balanced, and I can see the songs easily becoming radio hits or being covered by mainstream rock acts.

Fresh Body Shop has a great sense of melody, rhythm, songwriting and general production. Make It End sounds professional, both in production and execution, and makes for a very promising future. I imagine with a full band, these songs would really set a live venue on fire - but on record, a full band is not necessary.

I imagine this having wide appeal - for those who like their pop music with a raw, rough edge, or those who like raw, rough music with a pop sheen, great melodies and solid 'industrial' production.

This is not an album that will blow you away with rock theatrics or a huge sound - it is small and satisfying, intimate and emotional, and compares very favourably with mainstream bands such as Foo Fighters or Nine Inch Nails.

I am happy giving this album a '10' because I can see nothing that can be done to improve it!

One of the best records on Jamendo! Reminds me of NIN and Beck mixed up together. Absolutely amazing!

Actually, I do think this album is one step further from "tasteless", even thought I'm not sure what came first.

Anyway, it's a great job. And even thought it reminds us a lot NIN, it has it's own individuality and quality.

An unashamed FBS fan, this is another great demonstration of how this group can seemingly pick a style at will, make it the core of the album, and yet provide enough variations so it doesn't sound sameish.

This album is one of the 'hardest' sounding albums this artist has produced, and I must admit that it is a little too harsh for my tastes at times. Tracks 1, 10 and 11 may be better reviwed by those with an ear for the industrial style.

However, there's something for everyone here, as the saying goes. 'Holy Gangsters' is one of those 'killer' tracks that is impossible not to like. 'Candid' softens its hard edge with a funky riff. 'Make this end' ambles amiably along while retaining the spirit of the album. Steel guitars give a country flavour to 'Starving Babies'; pretty much every track tries something a little different.

But for me the best track is 'Angry Machine'. In a way it embodies FBS's music and why I like it - a little rough, an indie feel with commercial appeal, and the English lyrics pronounced slightly differently to a native English speaker ('Angry Machine' sounds more like 'Ungry Machine'). Not a criticism, but an example of the slight imperfections that endear FBS to the listener.

I have to agree with the last person, this does sound quite like Nine Inch Nail! Yet not exactly, though. I like it!

... but this has to be the best album cover ever! lol.

Like NIN? Perhaps a tad White Zombie with a dash of dEUS and Blur. More the merrier I say, a good sound.
More! Encore!

Super

An excellent fresh faced industiral, rock, pop, album, with wonderful sound effect, fast, energetic, passionate sounding music and lyrics, with an excellent singer, who gives the lyrics that edge, and an excellent professional band to top it off.

This is a great album. It is very 90's rock/industrial. Love the bass.
