Album description

This EP includes 3 tracks from the albums Bodhi Tree and 4D Reality published earlier on Jamendo and a collaboration with wonderful saxophonist Hamelin Bérengnier - HONKY FONKY.

This track was included in Triplexity's album Between Light and Shadow.

Audio quality of the music offered on Jamendo in best case reaches 190 kbps, which is quite reasonable for evaluational purposes but definitely not enough to experience the richness of original sound (1411 kbps). If you'd like to feel how this music sounds for real you can obtain a lossless FLAC version of this album on my website.

Nice sample-based reconstructions and inventions. Jazzy feel with great textures, vinyl sound quality and scratching. Funky, earthy instrumental hiphop grooves mixed with playful samples. This music sounds like the result of countless hours digging through the crates, condensing jazz and funk gems into hiphop grooves. Sit back and enjoy this arrangement of rare grooves, classic beats and samples without having to get your hands dusty.

OK, für einen first listener die chance mal im Bereich Jazz(-fusion,. -funk .-etc.) einen Höreindruck zu erhaschen die Gelgenheit, ansonsten ein billiger Abklatsch!

Man, I'm absolutely thrilled, especially with the two first tracks, of this... well, this kind of jazz & funk, groovy sort of contraption.. as they are really giving me a hell of a good time. I just can't seem to stop listening to them... despite this occasional bell inside my head. No, I know that I'm a bit leveled to the crazy side, but... no, there's really a bell ringing occasionally and maybe just circumstantially, mainly in the first track... but hey!... I ain't complaining... we are all quite similar, yet very different at the same time and that's exactly what happens with it. And in fact, I don't know why I brought up the subject, in the first place... because with or without the bell, all the E. P. is really an absolute delight... listen carefully!... deeelight!... oh yeah!

Disclaimer - All these exclamations, are a combined reflex of what can be listened and the bell inside my head. If you don't have a bell of your own, get one, or simply enjoy and don't pay any attention to them.

This recording is just what hip hop shouldn't have lost from its roots. The bass lines are fantastic, it sounds like a very great piece of "going back to the 70's" groovy music. "Oh No, Babe" is my favorite track right now, everything in it is awesome. Keep up the good work, gentlemen.

Hell yeah.. get on down to this sweet, soul filled, funky, groovy. Unique,crisp, sharp and so cool and so inventive. Jazzy feel music with great sound quality and scratching earth filled instrumentals that also does hiphop, groovy mixes with playful fun filled entertainment wrapped around each track.With great use of vocals add as well. To this honky fonky album. That is to good to be true. But sure indeed is.. Wink.
