Soulful grooves

Nice and mellow rock based album with highly professional vocals.The album contains a nice mix of music with each track feeling quite at home on the album.Well Recommended!!

A voice, guitars and a small dark world

An almost entirely acoustic album, relying heavily on guitars. The voice is a very beautiful hybrid of Brian Molko and Kurt Cobain (mostly Molko, especially in the way the voice "slides" on the notes in Angel's Fly), with an edge of its own and a remarkable expressiveness and flexibility. The lyrics are some of the best I heard lately, conveying powerful, dark emotions.

Although English is not the singer's native language, I prefer the way his voice sounds in the songs with English lyrics (but this might just be a question of personal taste). I also prefer the purely acoustic songs, like Angel's Fly and Sans Passe, Sans Histoire, for the more intimate feeling they transmit. Violence and Bad Omen are interesting and original, without denying their influences.

An album worth paying close attention to.

Très bon album

très belle voix, bien accordée à la guitare. Sons mélodieux, parfois un peu tristes mais tellement beaux.
Angel's fly : très belle composition qui allie parfaitement voix et guitare.
One more message : la plus douce de toutes tes chansons. Superbe mélodie sur laquelle ta voix prend toute sa valeur.
Sans passé, sans histoire : je dirais comme Piednez que je préfère lorsque les paroles sont en anglais.
Violence : on te retrouve vraiment. De plus, le morceau de guitare isolé est très bien amené.
Bad Omen : ici, par contre, il manque un peu de violence mais la voix est bonne et se prête bien à ce style.
I Feel So Lonely : un petit moment de repos après les notes plus rythmées des chansons précédentes. Mais la guitare est bonne, le ton est juste, que demander de plus ?
Un bon album très agréable à écouter et qui vaut le détour.
