This is a really great album. The rhythm is very easy to follow, and very steady. The guitar is well played, and the cello adds a unique flair.

The vocals are well crafted, well harmonized, and pleasing to the ear. I like it!

Wow - this male singer has a gorgeous voice!! And with the wonderful acoustic guitar strumming, excellent cello, melodies, and lyrics this group should fly pretty high . . . I think their presence would be wonderful to experience live.

"December" - with the gorgeous!! cello streaming into my ears and melting my heart including the beautiful lyrics, vocal . . . this extra special folk song became one of my favorites.

But, that is not to negate the influence on my mood that the other songs had . . . I can't get over how extra beautiful that voice is . . . very soothing and like warm honey brings sunny gold into every song. . . Just listen to his expressive vocalizations in "Stolen Thief" with a nice lilt and perfect emotion . . . hmmm, I just loved it!

I am expecting this pop/folk album to stretch up the charts on Jamendo . . . and become quite popular as other singers have become . . .

the postman rang once - with a friendship request...

and i listened to the postmens (what about the woman?) music and it was nice and technically perfect - good luck!

Now there are lot of good musicians on Jamendo producing and arranging in perfect harmony, but not many "real down-to-earth artists".

That's what you get with The Postmen - they even got a proper band name, yo! :]

The songs are touching, close with perfect music and harmonies. The same quality you get with say Katie Melua.

Even though Heed the Call is cheerful and a bit more upbeat I'd like to hear stuff a bit more out of your comfort (sing-a-song) zone, something really passionate. But as always, that might just be me =)

Best of luck - hope you get some great venues!

Amazing performance and very well produced as well. This sounds as good as any commercial product you'll ever find, and it's one of the reasons why Jamendo is the most amazing place on the Web.

The only complaint I could make is that the album is so good, it's a terrible shame it's not longer!

Keep up the amazing work!

An almost perfect album. My favourite songs would be 'Piece of Past Life' and 'Lady...' with 'December'. I don't like the fourth track,; it seems have a happier mood, but doesn't seem to make me happier, or connected with the mood of other tracks. Cover's too Simple, but looks pro neverthless

The Postmen get high marks for a delightful, polished set of pop-folk. So well executed. I've included "Pieces of a Past Life" on my online radio show number 3 (Track 7) here: http://spencerwire.blogspot.com/2011/05/spencerwire-radio-third-edition.html
