I love live recordings - so recording quality is of no import on my perspective to this brilliant band.
This is killer avant garde jazz where you will catch themes and gateways to improv and musical insight ...like I always wished I could hear in much so called real jazz -
This music redefines the word "psychedelic" as it relates to "heightened awareness" and musical experience -
This music is a gem to find here in Jamendo
The James Quintet also redefines "contemporary jazz" with continuity to jazz timings and mind-bending washes and walls of lush musical storms.
Just love this stuff!! Yeeeah!
