Beautiful, Mellow

This is such a beautiful, little set of melodies .. .. gentle like the slow waves of a summer lake, up in the meadow, nestled between the mountains leaning in from the blue sky. The crystal clear waters, and air and the twinkle of the stars . . . I know its all in my head .. . but the music put it there . . . and its such a very lovely ". . .Small Summer Present" . . . so thank you.

'A Small Summer Present', is a three track, Ambient Electronica-Soundtrack Crossover album.

Synthesizers create a "Cloud-like" Sonic atmosphere. The instrumentation is not quite Synth Strings but a gentle, soft and flowing Sound that mingles with Chime-like tones at times.

This is a supremely ethereal Trio that begs to heard in a quiet almost intimate fashion. Played during time of great sadness; I think these songs have the potential to help One cope with the situation.

One particularly poignant use for this album would be to memorialize a deceased person as the music can make one think not of the loss but of happier times when the person was alive. Understand this work is NOT funerary in nature. It is COMFORTING and as such can help.

This album is a Great Gift at any time. You will not regret adding it to your library.

Very Good Moody Pieces of Music

"Hug Me" Quite haunting, a little sinister and very mood filled. The slow piano and strings were inspiring with a touch of intimidation. The nearly static pace was almost painful. Not sure if you would want a hug after listening to this.

"End Credits" After a few sustained piano chords, the sound of a soft choir spilled out and ran over the entry and into the entire piece. Still poured by the same chords, the holding and pouring of the sound was captivating in its simplicity.

"End Credits II" More of the same as "End Credits I". This became more intense and held stronger harmonies. Though very similar to "End Credits I", this seemed much less dark.

A mood filled collection which I thought contained quite a bit of darkness. I felt the pace and tones at some points contained an eerie feel that almost got goosebumps going. This was particularly true of "End Credits I", which was my favorite of the album.

Shame the album was so very brief as it was a very good and moody pieces of work. Shades not recommended.

L'ho trovato nella mia e-mail l'altra sera e mi son chiesta il perchè di questo dono e il perchè della cover rosa... l'estate in genere è esplosione di colori... di suoni... di vita... poi ho capito il perchè... l'estate non è solo esplosione di colori e di suoni (o rumori) ma anche un momento di riflessione... di introspezione.. di calma.... di meditazione per ritrovare se stessi e il senso della vita, in un mondo sempre più caotico e frenetico.
La vita è anche guardare dentro se stessi... ascoltare le melodie della natura... le musica della propria anima...
L'ho ascoltato per una intera serata e... ha sciolto il mio cuore..
Grazie per questo dono giunto proprio al momento giusto.

I found it in my email the other night and I wondered why this gift and why the pink cover ... Summer is usually explosion of colors ... Sound ... Life ... then I understood why ... Summer is not just an explosion of colors and sounds (or noises) but also a moment of reflection, introspection ... calm .... meditation to find themselves and the meaning of life
in a world increasingly chaotic and frantic.
Life is also looking inside yourself ... listen to the melodies of nature ... the music of his soul.
I have heard it for a whole evening and melted my heart ...
