I am really REALLY enjoying this album!!! And I've only gotten as far as HayaLanuTov. What a beautiful song this one is!!! I love the banjo, and so it was a wonderful pleasant surprise. So I cannot comment on the whole album yet, but from what I hear so far, Avi is a great musician, and keeping the classic rock alive. I find it very hard to not be swaying and dancing in my seat as i write this. The harmony, the harmonica, snd lead guitar are awesome in YamimShelHor...what i am listening to now. So please, take the time to listen to this great music! I promise you won't be diaspointed...he is really great! :)

well, i just had to come back and add some more. one of the things that makes this album so interesting is the diversity of style and each one the intruments using is perfect. i wish i was better at writing reviews.i feel like i cannot express enough that this artist deserves.

only one lat thing, is i wish i could understand Hebrew, especially in the mellower songs. However,
there is so much sensitivity and emotion in the music and the voice, that literal translation isn't really necessary, now that i think about it.

Thanks for writing me Avi, and giving me the link to your music!!!!

" Good things " inside this album....very pro sounds and talent, nice voice, flowing guitars, dynamic keybs, everything that lets an impression of easy music but isn't...A mark of talent.

So " Le' Haim " , cheers to this album, that is to the Rock music what Klezmer is to Jazz, simply!!

Perfect album!

My yamika's off to the writer/s of this beautiful album.
The right instrument at the right time, the right blend and mix, it all comes together with a group of highly talented artists. Special Kudos to the guitar player. Not to forget I thought their timing is impeccable.A very polished bit of work.
Now my minor critique.
I felt that # 5 KoLEchadVE should be saved for another album. It didn't quite fit here.
I would also get a professional singer to top off your ensemble, you are at the doorstep to a higher level, make the best of you're presentation.
Good luck

"KetsevMitgaber" Good, fast paced percussion with nice bongo work which I thought worked well with the guitar. Some good guitar riffs with a standard keyboard background including a good piano solo and ok vocals.

"YamimShelHoref" Quite a basic Rock backdrop with little really new. Vocals were ok but seemed a little restrained. However, the electric guitar did perform very good solos.

"KolEchadVe" I got a little feel of Rock from what sounded more of a traditional Hebrew piece. The mix was very well done. I enjoyed the jaunty, bouncy rhythm with percussion and soft bass, thought this also went well with the brass.

"HaDeaShelHaAdam" Nice soft piece with good precise, effective and soulful vocals. The slow pace was well executed with instruments adding to the slow soft flavor. Great input from the guitars and keyboards. My favorite so far.

"Boee" Good firm and unmistakable Rock, with the percussion and guitar riff setting the style. Great form and style with good vocals punctuating the mood and theme. Good on the ears and feet. That guitar was there again adding some spice to the meal with great solos.

"EtmolBaLayla" Nice soft keyboard with a slightly heavy and too forceful percussion. The acoustic guitar solos were a very nice touch with added to the softness of piece.

"Or" Nice bouncy rhythm with good guitar work complimented by keyboard and percussion.

"Manginat HaGalim" Liked the sound combination, particularly percussion and guitars. Had a nice mid paced flow with a good change to a much slower and relaxed feel at the end of the piece.

"ObsessioninBlue" Good strong start with a cool electric guitar background. There was a good spread of sound though it seemed that the drums and guitar were competing in some sort of competition. Good soft guitar work towards the end of the piece which led the drums back to round things up.

Vocals were generally good, though I thought sometimes appeared to lack feeling. Some of the mixes didn't work for me, and I did find the percussion in "EtmolBaLayla" a bit harder than the general softness of the piece.

Now with that out of the way, I must admit to been surprises that an album of this size could contain such quality. The Rock based styles were wonderfully varied and the instruments played very well. The guitars were simply wonderful. The variety and mingling of genres was quite good and I generally enjoyed the styles.

Great musical experience and possibly a good album to listen to while, maybe awaiting examination results if you are a student.

If you are not a student, have a listen to the album and I'm sure you'll find the appropriate situation.

This just simply pour buckets... full of goodness and happiness..... and sincere heartfelt contentment and joyous happy thoughts and feelings on top. As you listen to this very sincere, wonderful entertaining, very stimulating, driven, passionate...emotional, Folk, rock, classic rock album.

Just everything about this more than satisfied my taste buds and moods.. I was in seventh heaven.. Just kicking back and totally submerging myself into this guys music, voice and lyrics..

This is a keeper and a elegant, sweet downloader and a MP3 player album. You will be checking out often and listening to. As just everything is infectious, good and more than pleasing. With great use of the drums. and electric and steel guitars and acoustic guitar as well heard.

This is a pretty good album, to say the least. It has a clean sound; some people get that funky-techno thing going on that you couldn't, reasonably, translate into a live performance, but I could see you and your band performing in front of a live audience. It sounds real, you could say- no dishonesty here. Also, I like the album art. It's a modest, colorful piece, just like the music comes off to me.

The only issue I had was the language. If I understood what was being said, I'm sure I would appreciate the music more than I already do. If it's not too much trouble, could you perhaps send me the English lyrics for a few of the songs in a message? I would really appreciate a better understanding of some of these songs.

I'm not a great fan of rock music, but this album is definitely good. Nice music, quite dynamic, good choice of instruments. What is also admirable is that all songs are quite different, which is seldom to be found in rock music albums. And I've always liked how Hebrew sounds.

I usualy don't like rock music but I must say this is great discovery in music. This is not just rock we can hear on TV this is so much more. I like emotions and ambient of music when I listened this album. It's almost perfect.
