1. Intro. This is a vocoder processed sample of mmb’s voice.

2. Guitar. The nylon string guitar from Roland (a vintage) will invite (hopefully) the listener to a journey towards an enlightened morning. 3'.

3. Koto stellar. A traditional koto sound contrasts with layers of electro. 4'11

4.Sunrise nrg. The moment of sun rising is obviously one of silence and expansion. 2'40.

5. Space arpeggio. A stairway to the space of music. 6'09.

6. Antartic ice dance. The crisp and brisk ice, made for freshness. 1'41.

7. Cosmic harpsichord. Twin harpsichord sounds (emulated thru the association of several Roland patches) try to suggest the barocco instruments from Joseph Tasquin's ancient school of harpsichords with two keyboards. 2'49.

8. Orchestral convergence. A convergence between winds and pads of strings. 4'47.

9. Nostalgic oscillator. The potential of virtual analog modeling synthesis is explored in this track. 2'41.

10. Move ! (just do it.) 1'30.

11. End : mmb’s voice sample processed through MS2K vocoder (same as in intro).

Interesting balance of space and motion

Bon, je ne sais pas de quand date cet album (oui, merci, je sais lire mais j'ai un doute), il est un peu plaintif et surtout creux. Ceci-dit, il a quelques aspects excellents : des idées de structures, comment dire ? Comme une équation de niveau deux, ailleurs on entendrait des boucles… En fait, le problème vient quand mmb digidesigns veut absolument produire une mélodie, une posture, quand la fondation n'est qu'à peine finie. La mélodie doit être involontaire dans votre genre, vous n'êtes pas chanteur !

Vous n'aimerez pas, moi pas toujours, mais c'est une méthode. Vous faites plus fin et plus complexe, et des nappes, etc. Ne vous préoccupez pas de la mélodie, ça viendra tout seul.

Intro : J'ai jamais vraiment compris l'intérêt de ce genre de virgule.
Guitar to an enlightened morning : C'est censé ne pas aller ensemble mais… C'est magique. C'est tout de même un peu léger et daté.
Koto stellars : Il aurait fallu un vrai choix : des sons qui sortent de l'instrument, ou des sons très travaillés. C'est le cas des nappes et des ambiances ; pourquoi ne pas avoir continué à broder autour ?
Sunrise nrg : Les effets sont très jolis mais il cohabitent avec l'ordinaire et le manque de travail mélodique.
Space arpeggio : Toujours un peu trop théâtreux et déprimant, malgré une bonne profondeur.
Antartic ice dance : Ce son, il y a vingt ans, serait très troublant, mais il ondule d'une façon…
Harpsichordly virtual : Étrange cet effet très ancien sur un fond, malgré tout moderne ; soit ça jure soit c'est audacieux, mais pas complètement.
Orchestral convergence : C'est séduisant mais ce n'est ni terminé ni assez stratifié.
Nostalgic oscillator : C'est à la fois lent et peu peuplé, c'est trop.
digidesigns : Il manque une nappe, sinon vous êtes tout à fait dans ce que vous faites de mieux : une structure mélodique qu'en marge.
